Kone during the press conference
Ivorian international Bakari Koné joined Qatar SC in a one year deal that will see Lekwhiya getting the services of Qatar international Sebastian Soria according to many sources.
Koné was presented to the media by his club in a press conference.
Koné played a huge role in leading Lekhwiya to the league title in the past two seasons. The 30-year-old striker joined Lekhwiya in 2010 after a great career in France with like Marseille, Nice and Lorient.
Soria Set to go the other way
Soria’s deal with Lekhwiya is yet to be announced but his former club Qatar SC mentioned it on their official website, as a farewell party was held to the 28-year-old striker who scored more than 100 goals in seven seasons with the Yellow & Black club.
There are also rumors that two more players from Lekhwiya will join Qatar SC as part of the deal including former Al Sadd striker, Ali Afif.
