Yakin who scored three goals in the European Championships last month can play In either an attacking midfield role or as a striker, and was top scorer of the Swiss Super League last season as he led his team Young Boys Berne to a second place finish.
Last season was Yakin's best since 2002/2003 in which he was crowned as Switzerland's Player of the year after great performances with Basel in the UEFA champions league.

Diane, 25, was a product of ASEC Abidjan youth system, one of the best youth academies in Africa, he moved to France in 2002 to join amateur side Roye, he then joined Reims for 2 seasons before moving to Strasbourg in 2005/2006 season.
In 2006 PSG was able to get him from Strasbourg for a fee of 3.5 million Euros, and although he played 71 games for the club over the past 2 seasons (29 of them as a sub) scoring 16 goals, he was always living in the shadow of his teammate, Portuguese forward Pauleta, the main star attraction of the Parisian club.

- According to Qatari newspaper Al RAYA (July 9th 2008), Burkina Faso international striker Momouni Dagano will join Al Khor from French side Sochaux, and Brazilian striker Itamar of Mexican side Jaguares de Chiapas may be on his way to Al Rayyan.
